Conference “Green economy – the driver of sustainable development of the RS economy”
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Srpska, with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, is organizing the Conference “Green Economy – Driver of Sustainable Development of the RS Economy“, which will be held on Thursday 06/08/2023 in the hall of the SL Industry hotel in Trebinje.
The goal of the Conference is to raise awareness of the importance of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency and the green economy, in order to use the total potential of achievable energy saving measures and to inform the economy about the challenges that come with the introduction of a mechanism for taxation of goods that are imported into the EU and whose production is exempt a large amount of carbon dioxide (CO2).
The conference will include three panels, and the panelists will be experts in their field, representatives of business companies, as well as representatives of international donors who provide financial support in the field of green economy and energy efficiency. This is an opportunity to present the experiences of domestic companies in the construction of solar power plants during a panel discussion. Businessmen will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the available sources of financing in this field. A lecture on the application of digital solutions in the energy transition process is also planned, which will be led by a recognized expert in the field of energy management and energy efficiency in industry. Also, as part of the Conference and program of the European Network of Entrepreneurship, bilateral discussions of registered participants will be organized.
This event is a unique opportunity to exchange information, experience and promote successful business examples in the field of energy efficiency and green economy, and to establish useful contacts.
Participation in the conference is free, and participation registration is mandatory.
